Tennis and fishing in the summer, or a winters night in front of the wonderful wood burning stove flickering throughout the spacious open plan living area. Yates Cottage is an ideal base to explore by car, or for walkers, and has access to public footpaths through Nidderdale right from the doorstep. Mountain biking or road cycling are also very popular in the area with its quiet winding roads away from the busy ‘hustle and bustle’. The Spa town of Harrogate is a 30 min drive, and well worth a visit, it boasts beautiful architecture, fabulous gardens such as the Valley Gardens or RHS Harlow Carr. There is a plethora of fabulous restaurants, and up market shopping, a visit to the famous Betty’s tea rooms is a must. The pretty dales towns of Pateley Bridge ( 10 mins drive), Grassington ( 20 mins drive), and Skipton ( 35 mins drive), are all lovely places to visit. The cottage is well equipped with everything required for a comfortable stay. It has a fully stocked kitchen, including appliances : electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with ice box and dishwasher. Comfortable living area with TV and wood burning stove. The master bedroom has a double bed and TV, and the second bedroom has twin beds. The bathroom has bath with electric shower over, WC, basin, and heated towel rail.
